It does not read the local license status.
A browser cannot reach the software licensing service. You read the status on the computer and enter what you see.
It does not judge whether a key is valid.
Only the activation server can say whether a key is valid or blocked.

Nothing published is marked “not yet checked”. Every published error code and article has been compared with its source. If a sentence disagrees with the Microsoft document, trust the document.
