A licensing site that only diagnoses

Why this site exists

A search for “Windows not activated” usually offers two kinds of result: a command that connects to some server, or a download called an activation tool. The first rarely says what the command does. The second leaves the risk with you.

Most licensing problems are more specific than that: the wrong license type, the wrong account, a hardware change, or an internal network the device cannot reach. Those do not need a tool. They need a few checks, in order.

What this site does

• Uses a few questions to name the kind of license you have.
• Tells you which fact to read on your own computer, and how.
• Turns an error code into the layer that failed, and the first check.
• Writes the basis, the limit, and the Microsoft source next to the conclusion.

What this site does not do

• It does not offer one-click reading of this computer, and it does not claim to detect license status automatically.

How the text is checked

Technical statements cite public Microsoft Learn and Microsoft Support documents. The sources are listed onSources and limits, with the date they were checked. Official error-code messages are copied from Microsoft’s document and are not rewritten.

When the information is not enough, the page says Not yet confirmed instead of a confident answer. This site does not use a percentage, because that number would not be calibrated.
